Born and raised in Southern California, S. J. Greene currently lives in San Diego with her husband and adorable rescue dog, both of whom are the loves of her life. She enjoys spending time in nature… and reading books, of course! As an author, she strives to help readers imagine a better world—full of happy endings—one book at a time.

Prior to publishing her first novel in 2022, she led projects and teams within the Finance and Sales Operations functions of the corporate world. Translation: She knows her way around a spreadsheet. She holds a well-worn B.S. in Business Administration and a less-used M.S. in Environmental Sciences and Management. 

Meandering as it was, her career path eventually led to her greatest passion: writing emotional stories with entertainment value.

Though romance is at the heart of all her stories, S. J. Greene likes to color outside the lines when it comes to genres. In her Fresh Start series, When Love Hurts is a romantic suspense novel with crime elements, whereas When Love Heals falls under contemporary emotional fiction with LGBTQ themes. When Love Holidays (releasing 10-1-2024) will be a romantic comedy. She also has plans for another rom-com, a psychological thriller, and a fantasy series…
